• 👋 Hello! My name is Jacqueline Joy Conquest, I go by Joy and have been for the past 15+ years. In my childhood I went by Jackie, which has now been changed to Jacque; however, I still prefer to be called Joy!
Born and raised in Oregon; My mother’s family is from Oklahoma and my dad’s family is from Arkansas!
My mom died when I was 14 years old, my brother was 8 years old. We went to Oklahoma the summer after my mom died and went to Arkansas for a family Reunion which was in July, July 4th, 1976.
My Dad and my brother moved to Oklahoma City while I was in the Service. My bother went to Grant High School on S. 74th, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graduated 1985.
I graduated from Medford Sr. High School, 1979, Medford, Oregon.
My Dad remarried three times, once within a few months of mom’s death; had it annulled. Her name was Nancy.
The second time was to Betty Griffiths; they were married 7 years, then divorced while I was in the Service.
He married the 3rd time, while in Oklahoma; Joyce was her name; she had two grown daughters. After they divorced, Dad lived in an apartment of his own.
He was about to go west to California, where my brother had been since he was 20, when he married Diana, she gave him four children: Kindra, Ian, Kathleen and Paulina.
My Dad died from a massive coronary, he died before he hit the ground is what the Coroner told me. June 13th, 1996.
In mom’s family there’s diabetes and in my dad’s family there’s heart disease. Caution is exercised in those areas in most of my family.
So, my mom died at age 34 from Leukemia; my dad died at 55 from a massive coronary. My bother is 58 and I am 64. My bother has 3 grandchildren. I am divorced, no children. Incidently, my brother is not married, but divorced; he has a woman he’s been with for several years. Kathleen is married, two children; Ian is married with 3 children. Paulina is still going to College; Kindra and her Man have 2 dogs that’s her family, she says.
They live in Stockton, Manteca, San Jose, Santa Clara,San Luis Obispo, California.
My Uncle James Goff and his family live in the Sacramento area.

My Uncle James Goff retired from the Air Force after 20 years. Vetenam Veteran.
My Uncle Corney, Cornelius is also a Vietnam Veteran USMC
My Great Uncle Edward Goff, WWII Veteran, he used to tell us, I’d tell you what I did, but I would have to kill you.
My Uncle Charles Hindman was in the Korean War. Army
My Cousin Gregory Tate is still in the Army as a Gunnery Sergeant; he’s been in for 18 years now. Married and has 5 children; his wife is Korean, has been validated and has received her citizenship in the USA!
My Cousin David Grow , Captain in the Navy about to retire from the Service.
